No. Your time is reserved only for you and your guests. Each wedding is assigned an arrival time to ensure no overlap.
• Is this enough time to enjoy our wedding?
Yes. A Petite Wedding gives you all the most important details of a longer wedding (ceremony, first dance, toast, hors d’oeuvres, cake, flowers, décor, photography and music) without paying for the extra hours when many guests would leave early anyway. Each wedding lasts for 1 hour 50 minutes, which includes 65 minutes for your wedding and 45 minutes for your on-site photo session.
If you think you’ll want the party to continue, we suggest meeting your guests after your Petite Wedding for dinner, drinks or dancing to continue the celebration. Most of our venues are in areas where this is easy to do, so let the fun continue!
• How much does a Blue Flamingo Petite Wedding cost?
Each wedding has its own pricing depending on the venue and number of guests allowed. Please visit Upcoming Blue Flamingo Petite Weddings to see pricing. Our goal is to provide you with a beautiful wedding while keeping the price as low as possible.
• How many guests may come to our wedding?
This varies by venue, so please visit Upcoming Blue Flamingo Petite Weddings to see the maximum number of guests for each Petite Wedding. Remember to include the couple getting married and their wedding party in the guest count.
• What type of wedding ceremony may we have?
Blue Flamingo Wedding Officiants can perform any type of ceremony you wish, as long as we can complete it in 10 minutes. This may not seem long enough, but trust us, short and sweet make the most romantic ceremonies and guests prefer it.
• How does customized ceremony wording work?
Your Blue Flamingo Wedding Officiant will email you a list of ceremony questions, along with optional give away, vow and ring exchange options. Once you return your answers, they will write your ceremony. You may either approve it via email and request changes, if needed, or you may hear it for the first time at the wedding.
• May we write our own vows?
Yes. You may write your own vows and read them to each other during the ceremony, or you may use one of our suggestions using “repeat after me” style.
• May we have bridesmaids, bridesmen, groomsladies and groomsmen?
Of course. Just remember to count them and yourselves in your final guest count.
• Do you do LGBTQ Petite Weddings?
Of course. Love is a human right to be enjoyed by all.
• May we make changes to our Petite Wedding or use our own vendors?
Not really. The reason we’re able to offer such a reasonable price is everything is pre-arranged. Also, a main purpose of a Petite Wedding is for you to avoid the stress of planning. However, there will be limited options available to you, such as your ceremony wording and accommodating food allergies. Some caterers will allow you to choose your two types of hors d’oeuvres. Some vendors may provide upgrades or additions, at their discretion. Please read each Petite Wedding description to find the one that fits your needs.
You may not provide your own vendors, with one exception. You may hire your own videographer, but they must provide a current certificate of liability insurance with the venue listed as certificate holder, and they must agree to the Blue Flamingo Petite Weddings and venue requirements.
• May we request a date, venue or city for our Petite Wedding, if you don't currently offer one we want?
Yes. Please contact us and we will see if we can arrange a Blue Flamingo Petite Weddings day to fit your request.
